Industry-wide Packaging Material Price Increases

Dear Valued Sealed Air Customer:

This letter is to inform you that Sealed Air will implement a materials price increase across the next 30-45 days. Specific product lines, effective dates, and price increase percentages are listed below.

The unprecedented operating environment brought on by the Global Pandemic and subsequent surge in demand across packaging end markets, has placed considerable strain on supply chains, raw material supply, freight, and logistics networks. This environment has led to a continued rise in raw materials costs – resin, corrugate, paper, chemical – along with a steady increase in freight and logistics costs, with Sealed Air receiving increases from our suppliers – requiring Sealed Air to pass along a portion of the increase amount.

Effective March 1st, 2021 Sealed Air will increase list and deviated prices by 3.5% on the following product lines/products:

BUBBLE WRAP® brand bubble wrap products (including all air cellular products)
SEALED AIR® brand surface protection foams and laminates (Cell-Aire® foam and laminates, Cellu-Cushion®)
SEALED AIR® brand Jiffy Mailer® Products (kraft, kraft bubble, paper, poly cushioned and non-cushioned mailers)
AUTOBAG® brand automated mailer film (FloWrap inline polybag mailer and PriorityWrap bubble film & board)
SEALED AIR® brand converted paper (custom wrap, cushion kraft, macerated pads)
SEALED AIR® brand void-fill paper (Fasfil EZ, Tigerfill, Tigerpad)
BUBBLE WRAP® brand inflatable cushioning, air pillows, pouch, and wraps (NewAir & BW IB, Fill-Air, Wonderfil)
CRYOVAC® brand shrink films and SEALED AIR® brand shrink films (Opti®, CorTuff®)
SEALED AIR® brand specialty foams materials (Ethafoam®, Stratocell®) and fabricated foam solutions
SEALED AIR® brand temperature assurance solutions (TempGuard™, TempShield®)
AUTOBAG® brand StealthWrap™ automated cartoning film
BUBBLE WRAP® brand AirPouch® film including FastWrap™
AUTOBAG® brand Autobag, Mailbag, SidePouch, Stand-up Pouch materials

Customers can expect to receive price confirmation files the week of February 15th, 2021.

All orders of these products placed prior to March 1st, 2021 will be honored at current prices, provided that the requested shipment dates do not extend past normal lead times and order patterns. Sealed Air will make a good faith effort to fulfill all orders within its standard lead times but reserves the right to limit order quantities if the order exceeds the normal ordering pattern.

Effective March 15th, 2021 Sealed Air will increase list and deviated prices by the amounts listed below for the following product lines/products:

SEALED AIR® brand Instapak® films – 6%
SEALED AIR® brand Instapak® (A&B) component – 15 cents per pound
SEALED AIR® brand Instapak® Simple® (A&B) components (by container) – 6%

Customers can expect to receive price confirmation files the week of March 8th, 2021.

All orders of these products placed prior to March 15th, 2021 will be honored at current prices, provided that the requested shipment dates do not extend past normal lead times and order patterns. Sealed Air will make a good faith effort to fulfill all orders within its standard lead times but reserves the right to limit order quantities if the order exceeds the normal ordering pattern.
