Q-300
When the load finishes wrapping the Automatic Film Cut-Off will cut the film. Estimate savings of approximately 30 seconds per load.
NOTE: Not recommended for loads under 200 lbs.
Q-300, QL-400
Recommended for applications when wrapping round, bagged, or unstable product because it is typically more difficult to attach the film to these odd shaped loads. Makes the task of attaching the film to the load or pallet quicker and easier.

Q-300, Q-300XT, Q-300XT Plus, QL-400, QL-400XT
Upgrades the standard 20-inch roll carriage to a 30 inch. This increases production rate approximately 10 loads per hour or can be used for additional film coverage. Includes 3/4 HP DC pre-stretch drive motor.
NOTE: when purchased with 1-15 rpm, 220 volt is required and is priced elsewhere. Caution: if ordered with an XT machine there may need to be an adjustment made to the proximity sensor. Refer to the Troubleshooting guide in the customer manual.
Q-300
Recommended for applications such as higher wrapping speeds, wrapping very light or crushable loads. Also recommended for very large diagonal loads or loads with more than 10-12 difference between the length and width of the load. Power Roller Stretch Plus is a quick reacting film delivery system that detects changes in the film tension as the film is applied to a load. This option includes an LED display which shows the film force being applied at all times. The standard pre-stretch for this option is 200%. If ordered in conjunction with 1-15 rpm option the Pre-Stretch is 250%. Applicable for either 20 or 30-inch film delivery system however the 30-inch roll carriage is priced separately.
Q-300, Q-300XT
Pallet Grip tightly winds 4″ to 6″ of the film web into a high-strength, durable film cable, locking the load to the pallet. Pallets shorter than 5″ may not be captured adequately. Severely outboard loads will not allow the cable to make strong contact with the pallet and severely inboard loads can cause the film to break at the corner of the pallet.
NOTE: Lantech would recommend testing if the pallet is shorter than 5″, loads are outboard more the 2″ or loads are more than 4″ inboard. Option is not compatible with roping devices or Dual Turntable.

Q-300, Q-300XT, Q-300XT Plus, QL-400, QL-400XT
Non-Standard Pre-Stretch Gears can be ordered from 125% up to 300%. Gear ratio must be specified at time of order placement.
Q-300, Q-300XT, Q-300XT Plus
The dual action roper has two different capabilities. It will gather film automatically into a small rope; approximately 5 inches, and secures the load to the pallet when the roll carriage is at its lowest point. It can also be used to rope manually anywhere on the load that additional containment is desirable during the wrap cycle.
NOTE: Not compatible with Automatic Film Cut-off, Pallet Grip Option or Dual Turntable options.
Q-300
For applications that require ventilation. Roll carriage mounted assembly that allows the operator to manually adjust the film web width from full width to 2 inches. Mounted on E-Z Thread gate, option consists of two adjustable rollers on a locking pivot bracket. If roping is not needed for a load, operator simply swings roper assembly out of film path to apply full web of film.

Q-300, QL400
The dual turntable option allows the operator to place the unwrapped load on a second turntable while the other load is being wrapped. This significantly reduces the handling of the product load, which increases productivity approximately 30-50%.
NOTE: This option is not compatible with Pallet Grip, or any roping devices. If purchased with the QL400 the Pallet Grip feature will be removed from the machine. The QL400 with this option is not compatible with METP.
Q-300
Allows the turntable to rotate up to 15 RPM. Includes Power Roller Stretch Plus and 1 HP DC drive motor.
NOTE – When purchased with a 30-inch film delivery system, 220 Volt option required. This option is not compatible in combination with 5000 lb. turntable capacity. With option machine is no longer portable and the turntable speed is reduced to 8 rpm. This is not compatible with the 15-rpm option. Q-300XT, QL-400XT
This Increases the length of machine to allow larger diagonal loads. Center point of turntable to back of base is 90 inches. With option machine is no longer portable and the turntable speed is reduced to 8 rpm. This is not compatible with the 15-rpm option. To ensure a 20-inch safety clearance between the rotating load and mast and maximum XT module performance, we recommend a maximum of a 78-inch load diagonal with the standard 65-inch turntable and an 81-inch load diagonal with the purchase of the 72-inch turntable priced elsewhere. Q-300, QL-400

Lantech recommends a 96-inch turntable in conjunction with this option. The 140-inch extended range load height sensor is required and priced elsewhere. To ensure a 20-inch safety clearance between the rotating load and mast, we recommend a 117-inch maximum load diagonal.
Q-300XT, QL-400XT
This Increases the length of machine to allow larger diagonal loads. Center point of turntable to back of base is 106 inches. With option machine is no longer portable and the turntable speed is reduced to 8 rpm. This is not compatible with the 15-rpm option. Lantech recommends a 96-inch turntable in conjunction with this option. The 140-inch extended range load height sensor is required and priced elsewhere. To ensure a 20-inch safety clearance between the rotating load and mast and maximum XT module performance, we recommend: a 95- inch load diagonal with the standard 65-inch turntable, a 98-inch load diagonal with the purchase of the 72-inch turntable and a 109-inch load diagonal with the purchase of the 96-inch turntable both priced elsewhere.
Q-300XT Plus
Gravity conveyor, 52″” effective width x 5′ long; 2- 1/2″” diameter rollers on 3 3/4″” centers. Maximum 4000 lb. weight capacity. This conveyor is for Q300XT Plus machines with Load on Turntable option only.

Q-300, Q-300XT, QL-400, QL-400XT
A 120-inch range Intelli-Sensor or an adjustable laser eye will be provided for load height sensing. This option should be used on machines with the 96-inch base assembly in order for the machine to sense the large diagonal load. Longer base machines would require the 140-inch range load height sensor.

A 140-inch range Intelli-Sensor or an adjustable laser eye will be provided for load height sensing. This option should be used on machines with the 106-inch base assembly in order for the machine to sense the large diagonal load. For smaller loads quote the 120-inch range sensor.
Q-300, Q-300XT, QL-400, QL-400XT
The patented design includes isolated load cells integrated under a 3/8-inch turntable top providing accurate weighing capacity from +/- one lb. (.45 kg) per 1000 lb. (454 kg) up to 5000 lbs. (2268 kg). The sloped skirt design aids in protecting the weigh system from side impacts and the framework is flush to the floor preventing debris from getting under the machine. The turntable height is 5/8″ higher than standard, raising it to 3 3/8″ from floor. Hardware is supplied for lagging the machine to the floor during installation. No field calibration is needed. Controls are located inside machine upright for easy access. Includes a Cardinal 185 indicator with an RS232 bi-directional serial port only and can be connected to a label printer purchased elsewhere and can be quoted by Lantech. The customer is responsible for wiring the readout, which can be mounted at their discretion within 30 feet of the machine. A 20-foot power cord is supplied that will need to be plugged into a separate 115-volt outlet for the readout.
NOTE – Not drive through compatible. Loading with pallet jack will require a scale ramp.
This option is for the 65-inch turntable only. For the 72-inch turntable contact the Customer Response Team. Overhung loads are discouraged and may impact scale accuracy. Not compatible with, wash down package, extended base machines, oversized turntable, or the METP. NOTE: standard machine load weight capacity: Q300, Q300XT- 4000 lb. (1814 kg); QL400 & QL400XT- 5000 lbs. (2268 kg).
Caution: The scale indicator, load cells, & summing j-box are all NIST certified, but the system as a whole is not certified Legal-for-Trade. If Legal-for-Trade is required, contact the Sun Packaging Customer Response Team for assistance. If connecting to a printer, software set up and on site programming is required which is not supplied by Sun Packaging . Sun Packaging supplied printer priced elsewhere includes programming and set up prior to leaving the factory.

Q-300, Q-300XT, QL-400, QL-400XT
A 190 Indicator will be supplied in lieu of the standard 185 indicators. This indicator includes a large 1-Inch high, clearly visible LCD. A built-in RS232 Communications (minor wiring required). A standard feature with this indicator is Color zone Check weighing. The 190 STORM displays amber for underweight, green for accepted weights, and bright red when weights exceed the upper weight limit. The target weights are easy to assign through the 190’s capacitive touch keypad and can be changed quickly as different sized products are weighed.
NOTE: This indicator is required if the machine will be placed in a freezer environment however; the limit on the temperature is -4-degree Fahrenheit.
Q-300, Q-300XT, QL-400, QL-400XT
The indicator will be mounted on the machine above the control panel rather than shipping loose for the customer to install. The mounting bracket makes the indicator clearly visible from front of the machine and operator control area. The separate 115-volt outlet is still required for plugging in the readout. A 20-foot power cord is included.

Q-300, Q-300XT, QL-400, QL-400XT
Stabilizes tall, lightweight or unstable loads during the wrap cycle. This module is pre-wired for quick installation to host machine. Will accommodate loads up to 80 inch (2032mm) tall to minimum load height of 30 inch (762mm). If extended wrap height is needed those options must be purchased and are priced elsewhere. A 36- inch (914mm) round urethane pad and 1/3 HP (AC) motor is included. Increases overall operating height of the machine to 139 inch (3530mm). The standard METP must be manually lowered onto the load for wrapping and then manually raised off of the load at the end of the wrap cycle. The manual functions of the METP consist of two buttons on the control console to lift and lower the top platen arm and pad assembly. When ordered on the Q-300XT, QL-400 or QL-400XT machine the METP will lower automatically when the wrap cycle is initiated via Lanyard or Click-n-Go Remote Control and at the end of the wrap cycle the METP will raise automatically.
NOTE – Ordering of this option extends lead time. If ordering or quoting with a Dual Turntable, larger than 65- inch (1651mm) turntables or longer base machines; a modification is required, contact the Sun Packaging Customer Response Team for assistance.

Each ramp is 48 inches (1219mm) wide and connects to the low-profile turntable with mounting holes that are standard with the machine. The graded (incline) portion of the ramp is 57 inches (1448mm) and is set at a 2.5-degree pitch. With the standard 3-inch (76mm) porch the total length is 60 inches (1524mm) which will increase the footprint of the machine when installed. For drive through capability for the Q Series only; two ramps must be purchased. Drive through is not compatible with the G Series. If quoting drive through with the XT Model a ramp modification is needed for the clamp side.

With the standard 15-inch (381 mm) porch and the sloped turntable skirt the total length is 74 inches (1879 mm) which will increase the footprint of the machine when installed.

Porch extension is installed between the standard porch and ramp extending the top part of the ramp. This option may be required for long or low lift pallet jacks. Call for assistance on quantity required. Ramp must be purchased separately.

Q-300XT Plus
This option includes a 48″ X 48″ X 3″ scale that nestles under the conveyor of the Q300XT Plus and includes a 185 digital indicator readout with automatic reset function, ranging from +/- 2 lbs. to 4,000 lbs. Customer is responsible for wiring this readout, which can be mounted at their discretion. The readout has an RS232 bi- directional serial port and can be connected to a label printer purchased separately.
A separate 115V outlet is required for the digital readout. The scale requires calibration in the field by a certified scale distributor not included in option price.
NOTE -If quoting with Load on Turntable with extra sections of conveyor customer must be aware that they are responsible for making sure only one load is sitting on the section of conveyor that has the scale under it.
Increases turntable capacity to 4,000 lbs. (1800 kg). Includes 3/4 HP turntable drive motor and increases turntable speed to 1-12 RPM. This option is a standard feature on the Q300, Q300XT & Q300XT Plus
Q-300, Q-300XT
Increases turntable capacity to 5,000 lbs. (2,200 kg). Includes 1 HP turntable drive motor. This is not compatible with the 1-15 rpm option which is standard on the QL400 & QL400XT

The only other base option available would be 106-inch base assembly which is priced elsewhere. Includes 1 HP turntable drive motor that can accommodate 5000 lb. load weight capacity. Q-300, QL-400
This is a 67-inch diameter gravity roller conveyor top with 2 1/2-inch rollers on 3 3/4-inch centers, 52-inch effective width. The rollers are set in a formed angle frame, includes a safety circuit, and a spring-loaded brake with a mechanical release to prevent the load from shifting during the wrap cycle. Also includes infeed and exit transition rollers. A 7-inch pass height is standard. Optional pass heights are available up to 18 inches and are priced elsewhere. Maximum load diagonal is 63 inches, maximum load weight 4000 lb. capacity and maximum wrap height is 75 inches.

Q-300, QL-400
This option is for 8 – 18-inch pass height, a 7-inch pass height is standard with a gravity turntable. Must specify pass height in whole inch at time of order. For every inch of pass height raised you will lose in wrap height.
Standard wrap height of machine with a gravity turntable top is 75 inches. For example, 10-inch pass height will be 72-inch wrap height machine.
Note: This option can also be quoted and used on the old-style gravity turntable option and any oversize gravity turntable option. For pricing on these options contact the Customer Response Team.
Q-300, Q-300XT, Q-300XT Plus, QL-400, QL-400XT
Allows the ability to wrap loads up to 110 inch tall.
NOTE – For the Q300XT Plus, will allow loads up to 105 in tall. This option will require some assembly in the field as it is shipped with the upright laid down and is disconnected from the base.

Q-300XT, Q-300XT Plus
The Click-n-Go Remote Control Kit replaces the lanyard switch that is standard on any XT Lantech Model machine. Includes a wireless remote-control transmitter, a receiver, a beacon with audible alarm, and a holder with safety cord. Each transmitter has the ability to control up to 3 receiver equipped machines. The customer is responsible for mounting the holder in the field at time of installation of machine. Additional transmitters are available and priced separately.
Q-300XT, Q-300XT Plus, QL-400XT
This option is for customers who have several operators and will need separate remotes. This price includes a wireless remote-control transmitter and a holder with safety cord.

QL-400XT
The Click-n-Go Remote Control Kit replaces the standard lanyard switch. It also allows the operator to select up to 5 programmed profiles. Kit includes a wireless remote-control transmitter, a receiver, a Multi-color LED beacon with audible alarm, and a holder with safety cord. Each transmitter has the ability to control up to 3 receiver equipped machines.

Q-300, Q-300XT, Q-300XT Plus, QL-400, QL-400XT
Allows machines to run on 220 Volt 15 Amp via transformer. A transformer and disconnect (standard on the QL400 & QL400XT) are added to the machine. The customer is responsible for the plug and cord to disconnect. Some combination of options ordered requires 180-volt motor upgrade; in those cases, Lantech will not use the transformer.
Q-300, Q-300XT
Recommended for dusty or dirty environments. This enclosure keeps the circuit boards cleaner and better protected.

Lights the Emergency button for easy identification. Can be seen easily in low light levels.
Q-300, Q-300XT, Q-300XT Plus
This is a pallet height sensing photo eye that detects clear, shiny or dark colored loads.
Q-300, Q-300XT, Q-300XT Plus
A wrapping mode that allows operators to apply a sheet of film over the load during the wrap cycle. The operator presses the Top Sheet Cycle button and the wrapper applies film from the bottom to top of load. The roll carriage moves down the load for a number of seconds determined by the preset. Operator applies top sheet and presses the start button. Machine applies top wraps over edges of top sheet and completes the wrap cycle.
Q-300, Q-300XT, Q-300XT Plus
For applications if loads are lightweight or unstable. With this option, both the turntable and roll carriage can be operated at reduced speeds as the first layer of film is applied to the load from the bottom to the top. Then as the second layer of film is applied going from the top to the bottom of the load, speeds for both return to the settings established at the control panel.
Q-300, QL400
For applications where a manual function is needed such as applying shipping labels, stacking instructions, etc. to your pallet load. Pressing the Cycle Pause button temporarily stops the wrap cycle so an operator can place the information on the load. When the operator presses the button again, the cycle continues to completion of wrap process.

For operation in +31 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Includes low temperature flex cable, low temperature oil for reducers, low temperature limit switches, NEMA 12 control panel, panel heater with thermostat to protect controls and electronics. Pre-Stretch remains 200% standard.
NOTE – A separate 115V outlet for the 20-amp power cord is required for the heater. This cord must remain plugged in even if the machine is idle. The Cold Package option allows the Q-300XT, Q-300XT Plus to operate in environments as low as 20 degrees Fahrenheit.

Recommended for applications needing ventilation. Allows netting material to be applied evenly to your load. Can be used with either the traditional non-stretchable types of netting or the more modern stretchable netting. This option is not compatible with traditional stretch film. Not available with Pallet Grip, any roping device or Auto Film Cut-off ®. The netting FDS requires the operator to thread the netting through a series of bars that provide drag on the netting, which applies force to the load. There are small adjustments that can be made to the position of the bars in order to adjust the force to load.
Q-300
For operation in -0 to -20 degrees Fahrenheit. This option includes: 125% maximum pre-stretch. Precision Film Delivery System Flange Bearings. Low temperature grease in flange and idler bearings and the turntable center bearing. Mobil SHC 624 low temperature oil in the reducers. Plug heaters in the reducers. Freezer duty motors. Sheet metal Power Roller Stretch Cover & Film Delivery System covers. Steel Door Latch Mounts. Temperature compatible machine upright covers. Low temperature flex cable. NEMA 12 control panel. Required when machine is subjected to liquid spills and/or wash down with water at “city pressure”. Includes drain notches in the turntable base, stainless steel turntable bearings and axles, stainless steel hardware on the base and lubrication line to the center bearing.
Note – A stainless steel turntable top is recommended to prevent rust. Proper drainage is required to prevent the machine sitting in pools or puddles of water. Call the Sun Packaging Customer Response Team for application assistance.
Other
Q-300, Q-300XT, Q-300XT Plus
Lockable plastic cover prevents operators from making adjustments to the turntable speed, roll carriage speed, wrap force, and wrap count. All other buttons remain accessible.
NOTE: Customer supplied padlock and key.
Caution: Ordering this option extends the lead time approximately 1-2 weeks.
Q-300, Q-300XT, Q-300XT Plus
Safety labels and membrane inserts of the primary language specified either English or Spanish will be applied to the machine and an additional set of either Spanish or English Safety Labels and Inserts will be shipped loose. Must specify at time of order placement which set should be applied to the machine and which set to be shipped loose. This option does not include any other documentation such as the operator’s manual.
